Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) To find out how the 2013 curriculum implementation on Geography subjects at SMA 4 Watampone, 2) To find out what barriers teachers face in implementing the 2013 curriculum in 4 watampone public high schools, 3) For find out what efforts are made by the teacher to overcome obstacles in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum on geographic subjects at SMA 4 Watapone. Data collection uses interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the study show that: 1). Implementation is the implementation or application carried out by a teacher in creating and growing various activities in accordance with the plans that have been programmed to achieve previously determined. The implementation of the 2013 curriculum at Watampone 4 Public High School has been running but it is still not in accordance with the standard set by the government, because in implementing the 2013 curriculum. Judging from the standard learning process that uses a scientific approach and learning processes that apply 5 M have not run properly, and are seen again from the existing facilities in the school, it is not yet complete in accordance with the requirements of the government that has been fixed, right. 2). Obstacles or constraints faced by teachers in the process of implementing the 2013 curriculum on Geogarfi subjects at SMA 4 Watampone namely the completeness of learning tools consisting of learning implementation plans (RPP), teaching material materials, student worksheets (LKPD), learning media , evaluation and assessment of facilities and infrastructure. 3). Teachers' Efforts to Overcome Obstacles in the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum on Geography Learning in Watampone 4 High School, namely 1) Geography teachers are involved directly in 2013 curriculum development. 2) Evaluation of KTSP as the previous curriculum is needed. 3) Material adjustment geography in the 2013 curriculum.4) More intensifying geography teacher training in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum.5) Balanced geographic learning between theory and field learning, 6) Changing the mindset to the 2013 Curriculum mindset.7) Striving for school principals to be more attentive and motivating teachers, 9) improving facilities and infrastructure, 10) Making the best use of reference book resources, 11) Motivating oneself to be more enthusiastic, 12) Improving socialization of relations between fellow teachers, 13) Following socialization and training related to 2013 Curriculum is more active. etc.

Abstract

This study aims 1). to know the process, 2). values, 3). the meaning of my traditional tradition in Maleku Village, Mangkutana Subdistrict, East Luwu Regency. 4). to know the position of traditional values padungku as a source of teaching materials learning materials Geography at SMAN 4 East Luwu. The type of this research is qualitative research using ethnography approach. Data collection techniques, 1). Observation, 2). Interview / interview, 3). Documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely 1). Reduction of data, 2). Presentation (display) data, 3). Conclusion / verification. The results showed that. Tradition Padungku in Maleku Village, District Mangkutana emerged when people began to open forests to farm, then there also appears to make a thanksgiving. Since the existence of Padungku religion at this time to be different meaning and different nuances. My fox was adopted by the church to be a thanksgiving feast not only for farmers but for all other kinds of work. Since the year 2000an practically no longer held the village hall, otherwise the harvest feast done in the church. 1). Stages in carrying out the tradition padungku that is, a). the timing of the implementation of my traditional tradition, b). Place of execution of my padungku tradition, c). equipment in the tradition of my paddle. 2). The values contained in the tradition are, a). religious, b). tolerance, c). hard work, d). responsibility, e). care about the environment, f). the value of art preservation, g). solidarity, and h). democratic values. 3). The tradition of my paddle means an expression of gratitude to the Almighty God for the harvest. 4). Associated with these values can be used as a source of teaching materials Geography learning materials in SMA that is, a). hard work, b). tolerance, c). responsibility, d). care about the environment, in order to instill good character in each student. Implementing the tradition of padungku, there are values and meaning is good to be cultivated to students to form the character of students.

Abstract

The research is Classroom Action Research Which aims to Increase Student Learning Achievement On subjects Geography Student ClassX In senior high school class X Galesong selatan Semester 2 of school year 2016/2017, as 33 students consist of 7 male students and 26 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles carried out during six meetings. Each cycle comes from the four stages of planning, that is execution, observation / evaluation and reflection. This type of research is a description. Technique of data collection is done by using the data of the study result and observation student activity. Analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative analysis. Minimum grade criteria class X PIS senior high chool Galesong Selatan is 75 for subjects Geography (1) On the basis of quantitative analysis,the result of the learning cicle I 42 percent of completenes l and second cycle with the percentage increase was 87.05 percent (2) Qualitatively, there was a change in the activity of students' geography learning in cycle I 66.7 percent experienced a change in attitude in cycle II 87.05 percent included in the active category . Based on the results of the analysis and discussion it was concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning can improve students' geography learning achievement in senior high school Galesong Selatan

Abstract

The results showed an increase in the geography learning outcomes of XI IPS 1 students at Makassar State High School 12 after the problem based learning model was applied with the following indications: 1) the learning value of the geography of students in which 71.34% experienced a learning model of learning problems improvement after applied problem based learning models in the first cycle of 73.81% including the medium category and the second cycle 79.01% including the high category, with an increase in the percentage of 6.58%, 2) the results of observations of student activities in teaching and learning activities experienced changes, at cycle I 46.7% experienced changes in student learning activities in the second cycle 59.4% with the active category. This means experiencing improved attitude from the previous cycle. It is recommended: 1) geography teachers should be creative in creating a classroom atmosphere so that students are not bored and comfortable in presenting material while learning and are more motivated in paying attention to what is taught, 2) it is best for the school to maximize facilities and infrastructure in schools, provide textbooks in library.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Characteristics of out-of-school youth; 2) Non Formal education required by youth dropping out of school; And 3) Mapping of non formal education needs to out of school youth. The population in this study were youth dropping out of school age 15-30 years while the sample in this study is the youth who have dropped out of school age 15-30 years amounted to 100 people. Data collection using interviews, documentation and observation, after data collected data analysis done by data reduction, mendisplay data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that: 1) Characteristics of youth drop out of school in terms of age most are age 27-30 years 41%, the number of siblings most is 3-4 people 32%, the largest number of household members is 5-6 people 39%, education level The highest formal achieved is the 53% SD level. Factors that cause drop outs are inadequate costs, marriage, interest in going to school, distance to school and help parents earn a living; 2) Non-formal education required by out-of-school youth is 36% sewing / 36% skill, 33% cooking / culinary skill, 11% goat farming skills, 9% crafting / handmaking skills, 4% woodworking skills, Computer 4%, facial / bridal make up 3%; And 3) Mapping of the need for non formal education to out-of-school youth indicates that out-of-school youth need non-formal education for their life needs. The types of skills that young people need to drop out of school are the types of sewing / dressing skills, cooking / culinary skills, goat farming skills, handicraft / wicker skills, woodworking skills, computer skills, and facial / bridal makeup skills.
